We sometimes email organisations about boards for their premises: universities, schools, colleges, student accommodation providers, fit-out contractors and hospitality businesses. This page explains how we do that.
Where your details came from
We use business contact details that your organisation has published itself, for example on its website, or that appear in official public registers such as the Department for Education's register of schools and Companies House. We do not buy lists.
Why we use them
We rely on our legitimate interest in telling potential business customers about our products. We only email companies and public bodies at their business addresses. We do not email sole traders or partnerships unless they have asked us to.
How often
No more than three emails, unless you reply. We do not track whether you open our emails or click their links.
Stopping
Reply "unsubscribe" or use the link in any of our emails. We will then keep only your email address on a do-not-contact list, so that you are never emailed again.
How long we keep your details
If you do not reply or become a customer, we delete your details within 12 months of our last email.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object at any time, by emailing online@beyondthefridge.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
