How to make a branded board for your business

Boards are printed at 150 dpi at full size. For a large board, 100 × 75 cm, that is 5965 × 4488 pixels. Send the largest file you have: the original from your designer or your brand folder, not a copy taken from your website or an email signature.

We take JPG, PNG, TIFF, SVG and PDF files. If you don’t have artwork yet, see the last section: we can make it for you.

Go to the Create Your Own for Business page. If your artwork is upright, press Portrait first, then drop your file onto the board in the preview, or click it to browse.

Your artwork appears on a picture of the real board, with its rounded corners and screw caps. Want it landscape after all? Switch over and the board turns.

Use the crop slider to zoom in, then click, hold and drag the artwork to centre it. What you see on the board is what you keep. The print runs 5 mm past every edge so the colour wraps round the corners, and the preview shows that bleed as you go.

Each size is drawn to scale, so a small board looks smaller than a large one in the preview:

Each board screws to the wall through a hole near each corner, and a cap covers each screw. Choose white or black and the preview shows the one you pick. Both sets come in the box.

Press On the wall to see the board in a room at true scale, so you can judge the size properly before ordering fifty of them.

Under the preview, the resolution check measures your file against the board you’ve chosen and tells you whether it will print well. It warns you before you can order something that would print soft.

Under the board, enter how many of this design you need and your purchase order reference. Volume pricing starts from five boards. Prices are shown without VAT, and VAT is added at checkout.

Ordering several designs? Set up each one in turn and add it to the same business order, each with its own quantity.

Press Add to business order. Your original file travels with the order, untouched, along with the crop, size, format and caps you chose. Then choose how to pay:

• Checkout by card takes payment now, and the boards go into production as soon as the proof is signed off.
• Raise a purchase order issues a proforma invoice against your PO reference, payable on your agreed terms. We hold the job until it clears.

We check every file by hand and send you a PDF proof before anything is printed. Once it’s signed off, your boards are made in 3–5 working days + delivery.

We don’t have artwork. Can you make it? Yes. Send us a rough idea of your branding, or a prompt from our B2B prompt library, and we’ll generate and prepare the artwork for you. Our design service is quoted per job.

Can we write on the boards? Yes, with a dry-wipe pen, and they wipe clean. Pens are dark, so plan a white or pale area in your design for rotas, menus or notes.

Will magnets stick? Yes. The boards are 1.2 mm steel, so ordinary magnets hold anywhere on the face.

Can you make a size that isn’t listed? Cut to size is available on orders of 25 panels or more. Send us the measurements through the contact page and we’ll quote it.

What about repeat orders? Every artwork file you send us is kept on file, so a reorder is one email.
